San Juan Mountains
When I am in the mountains, I am home. This is true when I am exploring and when I am in my actual home. You could say mountains are my greatest love. They have impacted nearly every aspect of my life. The San Juan Mountains are a special subrange of the Rockies. Notoriously rugged and wild. For many years I have been working on my San Juan Mountains Project, which is a complete visual documentation of this range. This is a passion project, an ode to wilderness and a story about our changing planet.
Through the years I have pushed myself beyond what I knew to be possible in order to capture special places and moments in these mountains.
